rajdeep bhattacharya Believe!

In its dark blues, Pat and sue were sitting on the branch of a gigantic plant. The wing Ah! Unable to swing, The beak unable to sing at the peak; They were not able to fight a kite, hovering at the sky, Pat and sue were not able to fly; Beside yon the Fowler was armed with a bow, aiming them with a greedy arrow How eerie, They were not free, Neither at the sky, Nor in the ground, so they cried, Conveyed the dismal tidings to THE ONE, crying and moaning… “Thou art behind all these Save us and hel… Continue

vinay ::Unspoken Thoughts::

Nov 15th '09 Hey, u beautiful, The glint in your eyes says it all, Words are mundane rituals long gone by, Actions r out of sync with the plausible, When mind wanders in the limitless direction.. Hey, u beautiful, The smile on ur lips says it all, It disarms even the non-compliant, They quiver out of un-reason, And set quite a few things in disarray.. Hey, u beautiful The words from ur mouth says it all, Keep listening to the melody, Unmindful of the streaming river, Just focuss… Continue

Anna T. Menendez Break Up Poems

Battle Scars People say I should hide my scars from the world. Forget all about you and what you did. But no, I won't forget you. Even though our bad times were awful, the good times were amazing. I won't forget your hair, or the way you said my name or even the way you held me. I won't forget. Even if you and I both left battle scars, I wear them proudly. As if a groupie wear her favorite band shirt. Bipolar Darling (NO offense to anyone!!!!!!) Darling, what's wrong? One minute you love me… Continue

shivani panchmatia Forsaken Paths....

There was a time when my heart was a stone Until the first Hello which shook the silent road The barren land which was called heart, bloomed With a tenderness that was quite unknown. The sparks kindled by the sweet moments Reflected the laughter in my eyes like soulful sonnets Life suddenly was full of promises abound And nothing ever seemed to go wrong. The memories that we shared and created Shall forever lie deep embedded Though you have forsaken the paths we treaded I shall forever wait wi… Continue

Elin Holmerin Celebration of St. Lucy (Lucia - Saint of Syracuse)

Every year on December the 13th we celebrate Lucia in Sweden. Why is a question for the wise, she is a saint from Italy, but I guess the tradition just got started somehow and since she is "the bringer of light" (and we Swedes doLOVE light - all the darkness during the winter that drains us), we too her to our hearts. Today I have watched three Lucia choirs, one at my son's day care centre, two at the school I work in. The pictures below are from my school, the two "Lucias" are in the middle of… Continue
